Paper Cupcakes Lilies

So the image is really "easter lillies" but it doesn't have to be does it ? ;)

So glad I finally got to do this one... I get frustrated with my printer, seems it 85% of the time leaves smudgies, and I am talking bad ones! ;) so I colored this digital image from Paper Cupcakes with copic markers, then cut it out.

There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes - BLOG HOP

Hello! Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening!

You have arrived on the 9th stop of the "
There's Magic In The Air" Recipe Blog Hop.

The image Nina asked me to use is Jessie. Isn't she just the cutest fairy! I've colored her with markers and of course inked the edge. Crimped the mat for additional interest. You have a chance of winning this image in a random drawing, by leaving a comment for me. Sweet huh?

Here is one of my family's favorite Christmas recipes: (well it's not MINE, I got it from McCormick, but it's always a hit when I make it.)

Ginger Pumpkin Cheesecake
8 ounces gingersnaps, finely crushed
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons sugar
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons McCormick® Pumpkin Pie Spice
whipped cream
pecan halves

1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine gingersnap crumbs, butter and sugar. Press into bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
2. Beat cream cheese and brown sugar with electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add next 4 ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake 50 minutes or until lightly browned on top and almost set.
3. Remove from oven and cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
4. Run knife around inside edge of pan and release sides.
Place on serving plate and garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves.

Now for my secret word: LOVE
This is the final word, so be sure to post your secret sentence on your blog & link it back here to Mr. Linky below.

If you arrived on my blog first, you need to go to the beginning of this blog hop HERE to get all the directions and to hop along & collect all the clues. If you arrived from craftieodamae's blog then you are on the right path. Remember to leave a comment on my blog then your next stop now is to go over to Nina's blog to see another card/project, find a new recipe, and see the Final Challenge.

Magic Monday - Sweet Trouble

Today's Limited Time Free Image from There's Magic in the Air is Sweet Trouble and the Challange is..."Clean and Simple card with limitations on what you can use (e.g., "NO" brads, bows, or anything that would make it challenging to mail) and a color requirement PINK, of course, must appear on your card somewhere."

I've used ribbon, but no bow to make it lumpy, and I've used Aleene's Paper Glaze on the Candy Canes.

Magical Monday - Anything BUT a Card

OK SO today's FREE Limited TIME Image from There's Magic in the Air is NOT THE ONE I USED LOL - it IS Snowy Flight, but I used the wrong image in today's Challenge....when you see today's actual free image, I think that you will see how I got confused, and well...I guess I subconsciously just wanted to use the turtle :) Nina was gracious enough to let me go ahead & post it as a sneak peek of the images that will be available in her new store, Paper Cupcakes! How Exciting! This Week's Challenge was to make "anything but a card." I have made a little card purse. I found the instructions online..... on Andrea Walford's blog Sunny Stampin' Inc., so head on over there for the step by step, she also offers a template, which I did not download, I just used the dimensions she gave.

So here it is..
for my ribbon tabs, I used a Cuttlebug ribbon label die cut and cut it in half, and I used the slit punch to make the scallops
