More cards from July

Some more cards I've made recently.  Mish-mash of old, new, Stampin' Up!, not Stampin' Up!

Christmas / Winter Preview

How about some Holiday Catalog Sneak Peeks??

This one I used the new Santa's List stamp set.  The dsp is actually from the Spring Catalog, so it's retired, but  it just goes to show you that it doesn't have to be "Christmas" paper to use it for Christmas.  I also used the new Washi tape and Candy Dots in Always Artichoke.

The next three feature the Winter Frost Specialty dsp from the Holiday Catalog.  I am using the carryover set Greetings Of The Season  stamp set.  It's not in this years Catalogs, but it will be available all this year.

Feel Goods

All of these cards use the Feel Goods sentiment set.
Trying to use some of the dsp from last year, or before.  So even though it's "retired"  it's still good paper!  Such great sentiments in this set and in a cool font!

Moon Theme ATCs

Just finished an ATCswap
What are ATC's? They are Artist Trading Cards.
They are small works of art, traded amongst artists.
They measure 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"

This swap had a moon theme.
Here are the five cards I sent in.

These two are similar. One has glitter all over the moon and one, just around it.
I sponged with Distress Inks on Shimmery White cardstock, using a simple circle mask for the moon using both the negative and the positive parts.  Star punches and Stickles glitter glue and then I sewed the edges.

This one I sponged again, using the Distress Inks and Glossy cardstock.  I can't believe I never sponged on glossy cs before!   I had the little Cheshire Cat, just laying around all colored in AND cut out, so he just jumped on this card.  He is popped up on  foam adhesive.  The ribbon is Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin ribbon, from Stampin'  Up! and stiched around with matching thread.

This one is sponged with Distress Inks and a couple pine trees stamped in.  I used my paper piercer to poke the holes for stitching with a 1/8" organdy ribbon.

The last one, I embossed the circle design and again sponged on Shimmery White cardstock, using the Distress Inks, and then I water colored with ink the darker yellow shade in the moon.  I spritzed it a little with some Color Wash spray and stamped the floral/leaves in Concord Crush ink.  Finally topping it off with some golden colored  gems.
