Valentines

Hope your valentine's day was LOVEly

I wanted to share some Valentine things I've made

We made this card at Jen's Valentine & Coffee workshop.  We punched out one heart and popped that up, and scored 3 accent lines at the bottom.

Stamps: Candy Conversations
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Pirouette Pink, Regal Rose
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Regal Rose
Accessories: Small Heart Punch, Simply Scored

This one I made using the Take it to Heart stamp set that I earned for free from Stampin' Up!
I pulled out three threads in the seam binding ribbon to gather it like that.
Stamps: Take it to Heart
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Pirouette Pink
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Square Lattice Embossing Folder

This one I used a retired cardstock color, but it just went to perfectly.  I used markers to ink the stamp in two colors and I used the Simply Scored to make the 'quilt' patterned background.
Stamps: Candy Conversations
Paper: Groovy Guava, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade
Ink: Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral Markers
Accessories: Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon, Simply Scored

This one uses a retired stamp set. I don't have that many markers, so I used the blender pen, with ink from the lid of an inkpad.

Stamps: Valentine Defined, XOXO, misc sentiment
Paper: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Melon Mambo designer series paper (dsp), Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Old Olive
Also used some retired cardstock and my Copic alchohol markers to color this one.  I cut the image heart out my hand, but used the new Framelits for the larger heart.

Stamps: Take it to Heart
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Calypso Coral, white
Ink: Black
Accessories: Argyle embossing folder, edge distresser, Heart Framelits, SAB Brad, Copic markers

Going with Jen's Valentine & Coffee theme for her workshop, we also made this card.  I gave them the option of this pompom trim, or Melon Mambo scallop dotted ribbon.  I'd say the choice was about half and half.

Stamps: Sip by Sip, Fabulous Phrases, Impression Obsession Coffee Beans
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Versamark, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Melon Mambo pompom trim

This little set I used for the Door Prize at Jen's workshop.
I totally copied a set I saw on Splitcoast Stampers Thanks Tootsy!

Stamps: Candy Conversations, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Real Red dsp
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black, Pretty In Pink
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, small heart punch, Basic Pearl, Jewelry Tag punch, brads
Here's another one using some retired stamp sets.

Stamps: Valentine Defined, Love & Care
Paper: Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, Whisper White
Ink: Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush
Accessories: Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Paper Crimper

This one I used the new Send Me Soaring stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The catalog shows a sample using the kites for a pinwheel - so  here's my variation.  I glued them down and then ran the panel through the embossing folder for the quilted look.
Stamps: Send Me Soaring, Valentine Defined
Paper: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Purely Pomegranate, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Island Indigo
Accessories: Pool Party brad, Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon, Square Lattice embossing folder

And Lastly, a "MANLY" Valentine, or you could use it anytime for anyone.
Stamps: You're My Type
Paper: Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Marina Mist
Ink: Marina Mist, Night of Navy
Accessories: Simply Scored, Bitty Buttons, Early Espresso Twine

ETA:  forgot one...

Thanks to Imogene for sending me the image and  some on dsp.  I used the one stamped on printed paper for her dress.  Also used some of the Sale-A-Bration dsp here and the ribbon.
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids
Paper: SAB Everyday Enchantment dsp, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party
Ink: Lucky Limeade (sponging)
Accessories: SAB Everyday Enchantment Organdy Ribbon, Scallop border punch, Heart Framelits, watercolor pencils
Hope you enjoyed these offerings, I will try to post more often!
